Four Sessions Winter 2011

This 4 week class will introduce studio lighting equipment and lighting techniques. Lighting for portraiture, table top, still life and fashion will be discussed. We will work with light meters, electronic flash (strobes), hot-light, on camera speed lights, reflectors, diffusion panels, cookies, & grids. A comparison of the commercial photographer's approach and that of the fine art photographer will be addressed. SLR film or digital camera with manual settings required. Laptop helpful.
Workshop fee: $225 ($100 deposit holds space)
